THE UNEDUCATED
What have I done to deserve such a fate? I've realised I've left it to be too late. How come everything under the sun I do hate? Life fights me as if nature is debate Who am I if even I know not my birth's date? Then all my ups and downs somebody should dictate. When comes a day when I will oversleep and wake not prior to but subsequent to eight. In all my odessey; I've toiled for someone to take just because ancient laugh it's unwealthy to educate. He bleeds when with the hands of money I shake. I humble tremble when with the suitman I face what I'd experienced; I fear no human disgrace throughout the sea of my days; I've won naught a race when trouble visits, do I hide or embrace? Is it the neglects of ancient or the modern race? The world of my life is straightly crooked as if I did trace but how in my dream's bank; I wish to give and take. Are all these the evil side of being wisely illiterate? Then nature is plightfully hypocrite. |
I FOUND HIM.
I have finally found that somebody Who puts a smile on my face That someone who makes my heart soar. That someone who touches something. You are my fire. I care so deeply |

MY MOTHER
Her heart is filled with love It resembles a bright sunny day Being loved and cherished is her reality Living to see me grow is her fantasy Her eyes show what she feels They show that love and care are so real Her smile she tries to fade But she still smiles as he passes by I wonder, will I ever find a sweeter mother Dear Lord, will I ever find a lovelier mother Will her caring ever come to an end If so can someone please tell me when So I can prepare for it Mother is my brightest light She's my hope and guard The only one I truly love is my mother, the one who spent my restless night with me Sometimes I wish she will never leave the earth And wish O how I wish that she could be free From all the sadness and pain she's come to know, see and feel Yes this is her life Yes this is my mother |

REJOICE
Rejoice and shout with laughter Throw all your burdens down If God has been so gracious As to make you black or brown For you are a great nation A people of great birth For where would spring the flowers If God took away the earth Rejoice and love with laughter Throw all your burdens down If you are black or brown |
A LITTLE CHILD
Little child, what ails thee In a world so tiny Why are thy sweet lips cross Thy peachy eyes so dim And why do bears now film Thy lashes long Ah, thou has soiled thy smock Thy nice and pretty frock And undone thy pearl button What odds! I reason Thy daddy does not mind For he was once a child And played in forests wild Men will be boys, boys, men Girls, mothers, mothers, girls And life itself thus renews |

BETWEEN YOU AND ME
Anticipation . I didn't know What it really meant, Until we needed to be apart. All because I couldn't hear you Speaking until I checked the volume Control of my conscience. I store up things to tell you Whenever I kneel and pray; And wonder what you'll have To share with me, but you've Promised me that I should do my best And you will add the rest. In the drama of my life, You were the director behind the scenes. Many gave their lives for their country, But you gave your life for me, because of my iniquities. When you were hurting and you needed a helping hand, I pointed an accusing finger at you; but still what was between you And me was very strong. Whenever I opened my Bible, I asked you to open my heart, That you may come in and stay. You touched my heart and brought A smile to my lips. Your eye is on the sparrow yet, I know you watch me. When we're not together, you bring joy into my Life, because of what is between you and me. |
A WORLD OF LOVE CAN MAKE A WORLD
OF DIFFERENCE.
When I look at the world, there are times I see regression instead of progression. That tells me that it's time for a revolution. Not in what we believe or who we believe in, but in how we believe. What about we being united? What about religion being replaced with relationship? What about sharing a message of love? What about helping each other? What about love? What happened to that? I may not be the right person to answer all these questions, but all that I know is, when we unite, the lesson will be complete. |

NII AMU OTOO and |
The Land Of Eternal Life
As the days go by, You reminisce on the things of yesterday, Hoping and wishing you could go back, To repair the mistakes of the past, But I urge you to take your cross, And follow Christ To the land of eternity. Aggrey, Guggisberg and Fraser Bible quote: To gain knowledge, have reverence for God. - |
Tomorrow A
Vision
Tomorrow, A Vision Yesterday is but dream And Tomorrow is only a vision But today well-lived makes every yesterday a dream of happiness. And tomorrow only a vision of hope Look well therefore to this day. Work - |

The Lost Doll
I once had a sweet little doll, Dears, The prettiest doll in the world. Her cheeks were so red and white Dears, And her hair so charmingly curled. But I lost my poor little doll, Dears, As I played in the hearth one day. And I cried for more than a week, Dears, But I could never find where she lay. I found my poor little doll, Dears, As I played in the hearth one day. Folks say, she's terribly changed, Dears. For her paint is all washed away. And her arms trodden off by cows, Dears, Yet, for the old sake's, sake. She still is, Dears, The prettiest doll in the world.

Each Day Brings A Chance To Do
Better
How often you wish for another chance To make a fresh beginning. A chance to blot out our mistakes and change failure into winning And it does not take a special time to make a brand new shirt It only takes a deep desire to try with all our hearts To live a better life And to always be forgiving, And to add a little more sunshine into the world we are living. So never give up in despair and think that you are through For there's always a tomorrow and a chance to start anew. |

APPLE OF MY EYE
From the very first moment I saw your Beautiful angelic face break into a smile, Exposing those well-cared-for teeth, Moving in the gracious manner Which caught the eye of everybody at the ball My heart missed a beat And you knew then that we were meant to be together. My eyes three draggers at every male Who went any close to you? Until I got to you And felt the bond that held us together I then purposed in my heart Not to ever let you go For you are the Apple of my eye You'll be mine forever That much, I can promise you. NO ONE KNOWS NOW WHAT MANY KNEW
THEN
Yesterday I wept As I heard the cock crow For I knew it was the last crow before the break of the new dawn Yesterday I wept As I witnessed the sun set as though I'd been told it would rise no more. Yesterday I wept As I saw the dew drop from the petals, soft and gentle And every now and then I shed a few tears for the things that went so wrong. But today I sobbed, like I'd never sobbed before As the gong beater struck his drum, To pronounce her untimely death. Indeed I wailed but not for the journey before her but the unfinished task she'd left behind. At her black parade I lamented bitterly as the polished panel of her casket was hauled but six feet below. For above her today stood the children of tomorrow who knew nothing of yesterday. Behind her polished casket now The white ants eat away the wood And no one knows now What many knew then. |
